Bottled Water: Would you really drink it?

Bottled Water: Would you really drink it?

Hot on the heels of revelations that water sold in plastic bottles contributes to our already alarming amount of microplastics accumulating in our bodies, come another shocker showing bottled water being removed from supermarket shelves because of excess ARSENIC! The move to remove bottles from shelves comes after a report from the non-profit Center for Environmental Health found bottles of Peñafiel water, which are imported from Mexico, contained arsenic levels above standards set by the Food and Drug Administration and the state of California.

Here's the thing: our regulatory system is a sham.
It's lots of well meaning words written in bureaucratic stone but it has no mechanism that can enforce the words!
No, bottled water is not checked at the factory before despatch.
No, bottled water is NEVER tested by the supermarket.
And no, even when good scientific studies are released demonstrating that plastic bottles are laden with microplastic particles which we happily chug down, NOTHING is done.

So what can we do?
It's so utterly obvious that big biz controls the agenda, and governments don't want to rock the boat, especially now that privatisation has accelerated the need for nonprofit areas l(ike in the field water quality checks) to be optimised for profit. (Meaning reduced or dropped to halt profit loss!)

Some say that we should simply drink tap water,
but those who follow these things shudder at the thought. An aged, out-of-use-by reticulation system, new contaminants like Bisphenol-A, Nitrates and PFAs have made national water management a literal battlefield.

The big one, of course, is Flint Michigan, where lead levels were suddenly discovered to be off the scale. Yet there are another 200 major US cities that are also in the red zone for lead, not to mention the thousands – nay – millions of consumers with unknown and undetected pollution affecting their health, sanity and longevity.

And notice what just happened to the Flint problem. ALL the people to blame have been granted immunity from prosecution!

I know that reading this may cause you to think that I'm being a bit dramatic, but I always remember the old saying:

You will spend more on your health when you are dying than in the whole of the rest of your life.

I think you might excuse me if I use another oldie:

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

What I'm trying to say is that spending now on protecting your food and water purity is perhaps the best investment in YOU and your family you can make. And like end-of-life choices, buying cheap isn't going to work. Buy the BEST water filter you can find – one with actual independent laboratory test results over the life of the filter. buy it from someone who knows their stuff, who have been around long enough to evaluate what works and what is the latest fad.

And yes, now I'm selling you something. Alkaway is all of these things. Add to the equation the fact that the Ultrastream, our own invention, is made in USA and has been around long enough for us to be able to stand behind everything we say about it.

If you believe only a part of what I've discussed here then I think you owe it to yourself to check us out.
